FAQ
FAQ
What is Pilates, and will it work for me?
What should I wear?
Is it ok to use my mobile phone for the classes?
How much space do I need?
To do Pilates mat exercises you need enough space to lie down on your back and extend your arms to the sides and stretch them up to the ceiling while standing. Please make sure that you can see the teacher on your phone or PC and the teacher can see your body.
Do I need a mat?
It’s better to use a mat but you can do it on the carpet. Thicker mats are advisable for Pilates.
How the classes are organised?
The classes are organised online via Zoom. After completing a health form and paying for the classes, you’ll receive a Zoom link to join in one hour before the class.
What happens if I can’t attend my class?
Please give 24 hours notice if you are unable to attend your class.
Classes cancelled with 24 hours notice or more can be used within 60 days of the original booking.
In cases where you give less than 24 hours notice of cancellation or do not attend a class that you booked, you will lose that class and no credit will be given to your account.
Classes and packages cannot be “frozen” or put “on hold”. Under certain circumstances, where an injury prevents clients from using their classes, this condition will be reviewed at my discretion.
Should sport people do Pilates?
Many professional athletes and soccer players use Pilates to improve their stability, flexibility and overall performance. Pilates creates a strong foundation for the body and mind. No matter if you’re a top professional or strictly amateur, the focus on stretching and breathing helps improve your range of movement, prevent injuries and muscle strains and extend your sporting career.
